Host FamiliesStaying with one of our registered families is the best possible way to experience British culture and rapidly improve your spoken English. Our aim is to provide visitors with a stay in London that is stimulating, memorable and trouble free. A family may be a couple with or without children, a retired couple, or alternatively a single adult. The most important is that a family atmosphere should exist with reasonable social involvement. Guarantee of quality accommodation. All our family accommodation is inspected regularly and must abide by ARELS / BASELT code of practice. Some of the criteria include: not to host another student of the same native language unless specially requested, to treat the student as a member of the family, to provide a clean and comfortable room, to provide a balanced and appropriate diet, etc… Location Central London is not a residential area. However, all our families are located within easy access to Central London, and within walking distance to a tube station (zone 2 to 4). Your journey to Central London will take between 20 to 40 minutes. We will always do our best to find a family on a direct line or easy access to your school or work placement Rates We take great care in vetting all accommodation to ensure the highest standard in comfort, welcome and ambience. This is then reflected in the different prices categories also taking into account the travel distance to Central London. Both categories would offer clean, comfortable accommodation and a friendly warm welcome. The most common criteria for executive families (Standard or Superior) is either their location in Zone 1 or 2, or extra comfort overall including the use of a private bathroom for some of them (more likely in zones 3 or 4). |
